Renowned singer and songwriter Aymée Nuviola, known as the “Sonera del Mundo,” headlines a show titled Bonche, in which she pays tribute to her Afro-Cuban and Caribbean roots through a vibrant fusion of musical genres. With an international career marked by numerous awards and accolades — including being named one of the 25 most influential Latina women in the United States by People magazine in 2021 — Aymée delivers a sonic experience that blends the traditional rhythms of Cuba with the pulsating energy of Afrobeat. In this production, she is joined by acclaimed musicians such as pianist Kemuel Roig and percussionist Eduardo Ramos, along with a group of virtuosos from Venezuela, Colombia, and other parts of the Caribbean, who enrich the performance with the depth and power of Afro-Latin American cadences.
