Maxorata Folkloric Group Festival

The Maxorata Folkloric Group celebrates the eleventh edition of its Folkloric Festival, a free event open to the public that highlights the musical and cultural traditions of the Canary Islands. This edition features performances by the Chisaje Folkloric Group (Tenerife) and the Malpaís de la Corona Folkloric Group (Lanzarote), creating an inter-island gathering rich in identity and emotion. The central theme focuses on the figures of traditional healers and "esteleros": individuals who, in the past, eased ailments through prayers, medicinal plants, and ancestral knowledge passed down orally through generations.
