Romería del Cardón

The Romería of El Cardón, held in the municipality of Pájara, Fuerteventura, is one of the most representative festivities in the traditional Majorero calendar. During this celebration, locals and visitors dress in traditional attire to accompany the image of the Virgin in a procession filled with devotion, folk music, parrandas, decorated carts, and typical local products. The route ends at the Montaña Cardón Natural Monument, an iconic natural site that provides a unique scenic backdrop for the pilgrimage.
