During the 2025 Canary Islands Month, the island of Fuerteventura celebrates its identity with a cultural program that blends music, tradition, and sport. In municipalities such as Antigua and Puerto del Rosario , activities include concerts, silbo gomero workshops, island-wide gatherings, and exhibitions of Canarian wrestling. Highlights include performances by the group La Trova, the Women’s Canarian Wrestling Challenge, and the Institutional Luchada, alongside dedicated spaces for native sports and folkloric expressions. The program offers a vibrant and participatory way to experience Fuerteventura’s deep-rooted traditions.
